Shipping rates and secure packaging
We ship honey in glass jars, so secure packaging is an essential part of every order. Below you can see how we protect your parcel — followed by our indicative shipping rates.
Glass deserves proper protection
Each jar is secured in fitted EPS protective inserts and then placed in a sturdy cardboard box. This keeps the glass separated from the outer walls of the parcel and helps reduce movement during transport.
Each jar has its own fitted protective insert, helping keep the glass away from the sides of the box.
We secure parcels with a professional strapping machine and PP band. This lets us reduce the amount of adhesive tape and stretch film needed to close the parcel.
We use simple grey cardboard boxes made from recycled/recovered paper, without unnecessary bleaching or decorative printing.
Every parcel containing jars is marked with warning tape so the carrier can immediately see that the package contains glass.
Bzyczek Rojek keeps an eye on every parcel 🐝
It is a light-hearted ApiMiodek touch, but the packing process itself is very practical: stable jar protection, a sturdy box, PP strapping and clear glass-warning labelling.
